Q. What do you think of Gardasil (HPV vaccine) for boys? -Sara

Q. I was shocked at my 10 year old son’s check up when they told me that the Gardasil (HPV vaccine) is going to soon be available for boys to prevent penile cancer and warts! I was completely appalled, what is happening with our healthcare? And who would actually give this to a 10 year old boy! I have heard a lot of rumors about this and am very uncomfortable with this. What do you think? -Sara

Hi Sara,
I had not heard of this wonderful development. Gee, another opportunity to poison my son, what could be better?  This is nothing more than drug companies looking for another avenue to get more income out of an existing product. We know there have been unfortunate deaths related to young women receiving Gardasil and now we can be assured of some loss of life for some unfortunate young boys.

Vaccines have become white noise in our society, so embedded into our culture that we barely notice them and feel perfectly comfortable with them.

I will not be offering this to my patients and I will not have my own son vaccinated.  The reason is simple.  I love my son. I also care for the health and welfare of my patients and they trust me to safeguard them from toxins and health threats.

We live in America and you are all free to choose what works best for you but I find these vaccines problematic and will not be getting in line to pay the drug companies more money.
