If you want to do something amazing in your life then it’s a good idea to hang out with amazing people. As my father once told me, it’s hard to soar with the eagles if you’re hanging out with pigeons. So come meet someone who has done something amazing and spend a little time to walk a mile in his shoes. Sal Fucito is a local fireman who recently found himself in Los Angeles as a (near) contestant on the Biggest Loser television reality show. Sal had permission to leave his job and go to L.A. for 5 months as he had been selected to be one of the contestants on the “Biggest Loser.” He had worked out with Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper and was throwing down his best game to stay in the mix. The last day before the show was to start shooting he was unexpectedly replaced by Ruben Studdard, of American Idol fame.
Shocked and dismayed, Sal returned home with a significant question about how he was going to move forward to achieve his now active goal of weight loss. I will not spoil his awesome story, nor will I spill the beans about how well he has done other than to say that the producers of the show want him back in L.A. in February to share his story of overwhelming success. But you can get a preview. Sal is making a public appearance to tell his story as only he can. The date is next Saturday, December 7th, at 9:00am in the conference room at ProScan (LMI office building) at 5400 Kennedy Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45213. Come take an hour out of your holiday shopping schedule to sit and discuss the important topic of “taking control” of your life, your health, and certainly your weight.
Dr. Gary Huber to host, Penny Krebs to offer insight, Sal Fucito to fascinate and amaze, and a few others will round out this short hour of power.
