Starting Over

Starting Over

One of the best things you can do when starting over is to learn to surrender. To realize that life is not supposed to be hard.  If it feels like you are swimming upstream… TURN AROUND!

In Yoga, we end each class with a pose called Shavasana which translates to “Corpse Pose.” In this pose, you lay on your back with your arms and legs gently spread out and simply relax.

There is nothing to do other than quiet your mind. The purpose of the Corpse Pose is to allow yourself to become “dead” to that day’s practice. Whether you had a really good day or a really bad day your goal is to LET IT GO.

Long before the Law of Attraction was at the front of our consciousness, Yogis realized that we are recreating our lives and our reality moment to moment. What has happened in the past cannot affect you in the present unless you choose to bring it with you in your vibration, thoughts, and actions.

When you consciously choose to allow the past to die off and create your life anew, you create endless possibilities for what can be. What will be.

Choose today to practice Shavasana for whatever “problematic” circumstances have appeared in your life. Surrender to what is as you detach yourself from it and watch your new life rise from the ashes.

It’s time to resurrect your happiness and passion and watch them rise up for a new day.  Be brave and bold! Your new life is waiting…
