Belly Dancing for the Homeless this Saturday?

Belly Dancing for the Homeless this Saturday?

You’ve probably done stranger things, right? Well, if you’re in Cincinnati this Saturday, here’s your chance to give it a shot and benefit the homeless at the same time. Belly dancing doesn’t strike you? How about Salsa? Zumba? Maybe Intense Core Training is a little more up your alley? Compliment that with Fit Ball, and stretch with a little yoga or pilates perhaps?  If nothing else, you can make it to an after party, right? Hey, it’s all in the name of charity, so why not give it a shot?

The kind and giving folks at The Studio in Oakley will be hosting the Fit4Food fitness event from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19. A different exercise class will be offered every hour throughout the entire day, giving you plenty of options to try something new, check out the studio, improve your health and help those in need.

The event is open to the public. Classes are $10 per person per class, with all proceeds benefiting City Gospel Mission.

Not to be outdone, there will be a Fit4Food after party from 6-7:30 p.m. at Red Tree Art Gallery and Coffee Shop, just next door to The Studio. Donations for City Gospel Mission will also be accepted at the after party, as you enjoy wine, snacks and fine company. Showing off your newly acquired hip gyration skills is entirely optional.

For more information and to register for the Fit4Food event, visit The Studio’s website or call 513-200-9848. Register early to be assured a spot in a preferred class, or just stop by the day of the event ready to enjoy a workout.
